HURRAY we won the National Arts Education award! Dunman High was awarded GOLD!
However i was absent from school the following day-_-
I can't believe how funny it was during the prize presentation ceremony!
there were numerous COPs, numerous COAs, 3 BRONZEs, 3 SILVERs and 1 GOLD. The award-winning schools were announced in alphabetical order. After a while there were only left with the SILVER and GOLD prizes.
The first silver award went to Chung Cheng High. We knew that the next letter according the Alphabetical order would be D... and if a school that started with a letter
after "D" was announced, it would mean that we won GOLD! so at that nerve wrecking moment there came another "c " for Cresent Girls. We were struck with laughter! It's like after so much anticipation they just had to announce another "c"... lol
So we settled down again. there was just ONE more silver to go. It was the deciding award! hehe. ...Raffles! we were cheering so loudly that many people actually thought we were from Raffles! hahahahahahaha. That was also the so-called "fatal move"which i made that led to my rapidly worsening sore throat ._.
well of course we won =D yays!(: We even sung the school song while leaving! i didn't sing it thught. i was practically croaking. just like a froggy.
ha when i got home i was down with fever :'(. so i couldn't go to school today.
This morning i went to see the doctor and got a medical certificate. Had to queue and wait for 1 and a 1/2 hours though. I went to Hougang Polyclinic mah. Total cost only $ 6.50. Cheap eh? I have so many medicines to take ~_~
I DON'T LIKE FALLING SICK ._.

...the tests are all over...
but i'm sure that i'm gonna fail one of them. Hist that is. boohoohoo.
well at least there's something to look forward to tmr! :) JADS MOVIE AND PROJECT. haha it's time to let our hair down for just this bit while we await the devestating results. oh actually i meant MY devestating results. me sad. ... . what to do?
i have nothing much to talk about. My brain is still full with useless history information that did not help much during the test. You can ask anthea how many times i said, "i'm going to fail my history test" today. I gave away one mark during the chinese test too. so much for blanko-ing (whatever) no wonder they don't allow liquid paper in PSLE. That's right i forgot to write after it was dried. spastic.
look on the bright side in life. Naitonal day! Singapore's gonna be 41 years old. That's really very old. But nevermind. Once again i have made plans to sit on the comfy couch in front of the tv to spend my national day!
today's science lab session was fun. we dealt with squiggly E. Coli. We have learnt that when dealing with those tubes, your hands must be super steady to maintain the pressure. haha it's so fun to see a drop of liquid dangling at the tip of the tube in such a precarious position. We made the bacteria suffer! But we gave it food as well as warmth. Let's hope it forgives us and show us great results during the next lesson!
