RHYTHM XX NIGHT CONCERT WAS A BLAST!!!!!!!!!

we all know that, hands down. haha
a bit sad for the afternoon one though.. we totally flopped it. but shhh.. what's important is the NIGHT CONCERT... yay and we DID IT! :)))
well at first i din think that our performance would be so grand and all.. i thought we would just go up stage and play while the audience fell asleep.. haha
on friday morning when i reached school at like 8.25, everyone was there already when we were supposed to fall in at 8.45... the moment i stepped into band room there were presents flying EVERYWHERE. haha. and i did my share of the exchange too :D everyone's presents were strewn on the floor and the chairs that you could just grab some and no one would know ( not that i did ) i mean like... oh i'm sure you get the idea :)
soon we were chased out of the band room and after all that hustle and bustle and in no time we were at VCH. hoho.
on the way there i cleaned the dried twinkle on my flute away using my school skirt... haiz now it'stained :'( oh well, at least i have 3 keys to be proud of on my flute :D they really do shine!
haha when we got on stage for rehearsal, everything was so twinkly. *_* the whole place was sooo bright lor even if never polish still will shine but those polished instrus shined like silver crystals. shine until make you blind x)
then blahblahblah lunch & changing... heng my skirt just nice.. if i'm gonna grow taller or fatter it wouldn't fit le. my shoes were so freaking uncomfortable! gah so hard.. walk 100 metres feet pain liao-.-
afternoon concert was close to a disaster... flutes were extra outta tune :( GAH! and i tore my stockings too! nono my flute tore my stockings. the screw so sharp -.- actually i din notice till after the concert. =\ but i managed to meet gwen and sarah too haha- haven't seen them for a long time.
after that we had hours of rest through out. we were so hyper until mrs wong made us sit down and sleep which i failed to do so coz it was so noisy and the hall was so bright. covering yourself with a blazer with intentions of sleeping DOES NOT WORK. you can only smell the blazer=.=
for the night concert, flutes were SO IN TUNE during mozart. stark contrast with the afternoon's... :) clarinet con was like perfect? porky <:D> amused the audiences with the blow saliva out thing. and gilgamesh, according to mr ng was FANTASTIC! and rachel managed to pitch the high high part well :)
during the break we had a traffic jam backstage. our alumni's phantom of the opera rawked.. seniors were dancing like crazy people backstage:) and jin jun wet my stockings with the flower water.. heng it dried fast enough or i'll be thought to have some skin disease-.- lalala
mei hui displayed her wonderful skills during piano con and by the end everyone was cheering... down under was funni coz i played that at the start of sec 1!tong hua was GOOD and Stand by me was fun though i played a couple of wrong notes here and there

i love the cheering and the atmosphere there. how i wish everyday was as fun and great as that night... jia ying almost screamed my ear deaf. didn't know he could scream that high and loud =.=
this concert ended so nicely :) it rocks!
a lot of people ask why end so late though hahaha

haiz today i woke up so late until an-an already reached yi'an's house for project and i just got out of bed only that was 11.15am hehe

hey all... last friday was DHS 50th annivasary whoohooo so old! i could definitely sense the "high-ness" in the atmosphere at school. AND the concert was a BLAST! *woots* esp ethnic drums (drumming emsemble) although i looked spastic with the cap
we ended the concert by singing the dunmanian-composed song. yeps... after singing a few times, i realised that it wasn't that bad after all but i preferred the 2nd half of the song :) obviously i can't sing that high but a lil mispitch here and there is acceptable :)
During recess we went pick-litter-ing at zhen xin yuan. field was such a splendid sight with all the colourful confetti strewn everywhere but it was not be left like that... well i also ordered the girl dunmanian doll... actually i wanted the set but bo lui so ordered one only. i love those intricate details! like the badges and the buttons.. so cute!!
NOW comes the sad part..
after recess there were lessons (aww!) sigh. the school might as well announce half day isn't it? gosh isn't it the opening of the 50th annivasary after all? besides it's a friday! k so it wasn't that bad generous mr hia got us kit kat chunky each yumyum! science lesson turned out to be better than most days and art was fun because of photoshop :)
later had band which we rehearsed the whole sequence for the concert...
but i feel that the afternoon concert lacks the qi fen coz less songs are going to be played... oh well i guess we have to conserve energy for the night one right? + encore :)
oh yea who would like to purchase an afternoon ticket to see dhs band perform at victoria concert hall... i've only got one left to sell! it's ten bucks (cheaper than the night one) approach me for details lol. actually i doubt anyone's gonna buy BUT please do!
yesterday(april fools day:P) i had band in the morning and jia hui tried to trick me with erhem. i should say that i was duped but not in those kind of flustered manner. i was like ~whatever~ ( i din even talk much in squad that day) Later , cuiting and i went to have lunch at KFC. those blue square have a date with jun yang cards were flying about and nice chu lei passed me a $1 off cheese fries( thanks!) gah was so full i din even finish my cheese fries and threw away my pepsi! so wasteful right!
later that evening, i went to TM for buffet with my relaives x) whee. we went to some place called PARISS. the food was not bad lah and i felt really full when i left ( i mean you always will after buffets isn't it) and could barely walk lols. i love seafood! and first time i opened a piece of crab and crayfish on my own (they were small though) hehe. when i came homw i practically toppled on my bed and fell soundly asleep.
As for today, sunday, guess where i went

yes it's qing ming jie rmb? went to pray to my ancestors and so i did not do anything much for the whole of this sunday as i spent all my time at the above places. oh well... once a year only no complains :)
so all in all this whole weekend was quite fun but not the least bit productive (unless you count rehearsing for band) and theres home econs test on tues and i haven't started STUDYING- yes it's studying NOT revising- :( gtg now there's school tmr
