okay, fastforward to elective week!
I joined Green Green Grass, a geography elective.
On monday we went Pulau Ubin for a sensory trail and chek Jawa board walk. Learnt about many types of plants and what they're used for. Even tried the mulberry:D ooh yummy! I saw the manmade scarecrows too. LOL quite funny. There was this unusual plant that had twigs shaped like bones. Mr Yeo ( our knowlegeable guide from NUS) told us they could be quite scary at night haha. There are wild boars in Pulau Ubin! LOL i wish i got to see one. Made new friends too, together we formed A.S.S.O.! amanda samantha shen mei and ovidia! (: we rock!
On tuesday we went tuas grassland. it's a waterlogged area and i got my feet submerged in muddy water. I never knew that those tall grass had so much biodiversity. the eggs of the apple snail were pink. and the smallest dragonfly in Singapore called the pygmy dragonfly is really tiny! this large only> |--------| haha
We saw huge dragonflies and damselflies too. I CAUGHT A DAMSELFLY! actually i was trying to catch the red pygmy dragon( which ovidia and i failed after trying more htan 10 times.. like so close yet so far!) then this damselfly landed next to it and i stretched my itchy fingers and caught it just like that :D the tail was SUPER LONG OKAY> |--------------------------| i'm not lying! anyway, we also took various group photos.

Then on Wednesday we hiked up Bukit Timah Hill! Saw monkeys first-
We learnt about more trees and the sounds of hte rainforests are made my CICADAS! it's a kind of insect which in my opinion looks creepy but accordignto Mr Yeo they're relatively harmless (: And we saw a monitor lizard eating a live centipede which was humongous. serious. the width of the centipede was like |-----------| Oh yes you can imagine.

Thursday was a break for us but i went back to school anyway to settle some band stuff and hand up my bio file ( which in the end i didn't-.-) then i went to ovidia's house to start on the presentation. Oh man we were crazy over the wheel snack. her mum was so nice, she treated us to lunch>< Then i went for CIP at pasir ris YMCA. There were few kids there that day cos the upper primary students were having a post exam camp. I tuitioned this girl who had a twin. She didn't wear her spectacles for half the time unti i asked her why she was bending so close. Like omg she's supposed to wear her specs! I told her that she should take care of her eyes and all so that she wouldn't end up like me haha. But she seemed very proud that she started wearing spectacles since K2. like wth? doesn't she get my point-.- okay nvm haha. kids afterall, i'm sure she'll understand when she gets older. After that i went to Amanda's house to sleepover :D her house is huge lol. such nice comfy bed. Samantha came too:D
Woke up the next morning with 2 alarms blasting in our ears. it was 3.15am. HA. we totally stoned for 5minutes cos only had around 2.5-3 hrs of sleep. ha but no choice we had to leave the house already. 4am at bedok mrt. The bus was late-.- Then off to Pulau semakau! On the boat ride there apparently i fell asleep on ovidia's left shoulder and justin on her right shoulder. Poor ovid, she had a hard time lol. when we reached it was still dark.
But of course it brightened. If you notice carefully, there's a rainbow effect in both pictures. it was such a splendid sight!<3

After that we proceeded back to mainland singapore for our final presentation at NUS seminar room. A.S.S.O. did the best! We got a 22-dollar book each as a prize from Mr Yeo :D i like the book cos it has many nice and colourful pictures :DD
Elective as FUNN! Buti grew a lot tanner -__- nicole says i look chao tah now. sheesh.
